In addition, he was the director of corporate development, leading the Caterpillar mergers & acquisitions and corporate strategy team. Before joining Caterpillar in 2010, York held progressive commercial and service-related leadership roles in private equity, investment banking, and public accounting at Macquarie Capital’s Principal Transactions Group, Giuliani Capital Advisors, and KPMG. In 2022, the Caterpillar board of directors appointed York senior vice president of Caterpillar Oil, Gas & Marine division.
