Cooper Machinery appoints HR leader

Cooper Machinery Services has appointed Amy Roddy as chief human resources officer, adding an experienced HR leader as the company continues to expand its operations and capabilities across the energy and industrial sectors.

Roddy joins Cooper from Diamond Offshore, where she served as senior vice president of human resources and oversaw HR operations for large, technical and globally distributed teams. Her career includes senior leadership roles at Noble Drilling and Pacific Drilling, where she supported organizational restructuring, strengthened talent development programs and worked closely with executive teams to align workforce planning with long-term business objectives.

Across her roles, Roddy has led HR organizations through significant operational and cultural transformation, including M&A integration, organizational design, leadership development, compensation strategy and global mobility initiatives. She is known for designing talent strategies that support operational performance and help build inclusive, engaged and collaborative workplaces.

At Cooper, Roddy will oversee enterprise HR functions, including talent development, total rewards, organizational design and culture initiatives. She will work closely with the executive leadership team to support the company’s continued growth and ensure consistent employee experience across all locations.

Roddy holds an MBA and a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University.
