Debnath brings nearly 30 years of industrial manufacturing experience to the Spokane, Washington-based thermal management company, with a career spanning leadership roles in sales, marketing, product management and customer service. He began his career as a hands-on scientist before moving into commercial leadership, and has held president, CRO, CCO, vice president and director positions at Selecor, Intellihot, Viega, Kaydon Corp., Rexnord and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Sean’s depth of experience, leadership and values make him a great fit for Hotstart,” said Chief Executive Officer Terry Judge. “We’re excited to have him join our team as we serve our customers in mission-critical markets like data centers.”

Debnath said he plans to spend the remainder of 2025 meeting with Hotstart’s global team and key customers to gather market insight that will shape the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Hotstart has been developing engine heating solutions for more than 80 years, selling over one million electric resistance heaters to standby generator OEMs including Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac and MTU. Its products are designed to maintain optimal engine temperatures for reliable starts in critical power applications.
