GPA Midstream honors industry leaders and volunteers at 2026 convention

Awards presented in San Antonio recognized lifetime achievement, technical contributions, committee leadership and service to the midstream industry

GPA Midstream recognized a group of industry leaders and volunteers during its 2026 convention in San Antonio, Texas, honoring contributions to the midstream sector, technical advancement and association service.

The awards were presented during the Center Stage Luncheon and Chair’s Luncheon.

Lifetime and technical achievement

Joel Moxley of GPA Midstream and Mark Scripsick, identified as a midstream technical veteran, received Lifetime Achievement Awards. The honor recognizes individuals whose careers have made a lasting contribution to GPA Midstream, the Gas Processors Suppliers Association and the broader midstream industry.

Paul Davis of Alberta Sulphur Research Ltd. and Dr. Robert Marriott of the University of Calgary received the Donald L. Katz Award, which recognizes accomplishments in gas processing research and technology or excellence in engineering education.

Eric Estrada of Targa Resources and Joe Landes of SPL received Recognition Awards for careers and business relationships characterized by integrity and cooperation within the midstream industry.

Service and committee recognition

Jennifer Hagerman of MPLX, Adam Murray of Samuel Engineering and Rick Seaver of Williams received Citations for Service recognizing significant contributions through participation in GPA Midstream activities.

Committee Leaders of the Year included Chris Root, Research Committee; Keith Fry of Howard Field Services, Measurement Committee; Laura Higgins of Phillips 66, Environmental Committee; and Catherine Schroder of Targa Resources.

Committee Volunteers of the Year were Mark Firmin of A+ Corporation, Analysis Committee; Rick Spann of ONEOK, Measurement Committee; Isaac Jackson of Energy Transfer, Integrity Committee; Shaun Anderson of H2W United, Editorial Review Board; David English of Energy Transfer, Facility Committee; Vincent DiCosimo of Targa Resources, Advocacy Advisory Group; Jeff Stake of NTACT Operations, GPSA Advocacy Committee; Jacob Vasquez of Afton Pumps, GPSA Membership Committee; Bryant McDowell of Phillips 66, Safety Committee; and Jeff Matthews of H2W United, Research Committee.

Jake Fournier of MPLX and Bryan Louque of Audubon Companies were recognized as outgoing chairs of the Emissions Committee and Pipeline Committee, respectively.

Environmental excellence awards

Targa Resources, supported by Caterpillar, received GPA Midstream’s Environmental Excellence recognition.

ZEVAC received the Environmental Excellence honor on behalf of GPSA.

The awards highlighted both individual and company contributions across technical, operational, environmental and organizational areas of the midstream industry.
