Atlas Copco Group has completed the acquisitions of compressed air distributors Baraghini Compressori and AE Industrial. No financial details of the deals have been disclosed.

Headquartered in Cesena, Italy, Baraghini Compressori employs 13 members of staff and mainly serves industrial customers in the provinces of Forli-Cesena, Rimini, and in San Marino. In 2023 the company generated revenues of €2.7 million.

Philippe Ernens, business area president Compressor Technique, said, “Baraghini has built up a strong customer base in their targeted market.

“Through this acquisition we will increase our sales presence as well as strengthening our service to local customers in the industrial northern Italy.”

Meanwhile, UK-based AE Industrial, a specialist in the sales, installation and service of compressed air systems, employs 40 members of staff and serves industrial companies in Leeds, Stoke, Birmingham and Blidworth.

Ernens added, “AE Industrial has a long history and a strong market presence in the UK. This acquisition will strengthen our service to customers in the region and enable us to further develop the reach of our products from our brand ALUP Kompressoren.”

Both companies will join the service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
