Worley has signed a reimbursable engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Venture Global for the CP2 Expansion LNG project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

The agreement extends Worley’s involvement in the CP2 development, where the Australia-based engineering and construction company already provides EPC services for the project’s first two phases.

Worley has also been providing early-stage engineering support for CP2 Expansion under a master services agreement. Venture Global is targeting a final investment decision (FID) on the expansion in early 2027.

The latest contract covers EPC services for the proposed expansion, although Worley did not disclose the contract value, the expansion’s planned LNG production capacity or a construction schedule.

Work on the project will be led by Worley’s offices in Houston, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Reading, Pennsylvania, with additional support from the company’s Global Integrated Delivery team.

“We are proud to have extended our relationship with Venture Global on one of the most strategically important LNG projects globally, which is set to provide energy supply and security at an important time,” said Chris Ashton, Worley’s CEO.

“Worley has identified LNG as a priority growth market where we have an established leadership position and demonstrated execution capability at scale.”

The CP2 development is part of Venture Global’s expanding LNG export infrastructure along the U.S. Gulf Coast. The proposed expansion represents an additional phase of development at the Louisiana facility, subject to the investment decision and other project requirements.

Worley provides engineering, procurement, construction and related services to the energy, chemicals and resources industries, employing more than 40,000 people across more than 40 countries.
