Lufkin names Rahimian as CEO

Lufkin has appointed Saeid Rahimian as its CEO, effective Jan. 4, 2021. Rahimian, a 30-year oil & gas industry veteran, already has CEO experience, serving in that same role for Aereon, a global provider of vapor recovery systems, custom flares and low emission, engineered combustors.

During his tenure with Aereon, he led a merger of Aereon with Cimarron Energy. Before Aereon, Rahimian spent nearly four years as the CEO of Gardner Denver Energy Group, where he led four divisions with 1800 employees and manufacturing and service facilities on four continents.

Rahimian began his career with Robbins & Myers, where he spent 30 years with increasing responsibilities, leading various segments including the largest group – Robbins & Myers Energy Systems. Rahimian is the past chairman of the Petroleum Equipment & Services Association.
