Howden, A Chart Industries Co., announced the opening of its new reciprocating compressor valve reconditioning section and stuffing box testing bay in Sasol Chemcity Eco-Industrial Park, Sasolburg, South Africa.

The Sasolburg facility offers dynamic and static balancing, and laser alignment of all turbo-machinery and other related rotating equipment. Aftermarket project management, maintenance, reconditioning, installation, and troubleshooting of various turbo-machinery and rotating equipment, inclusive of blowers, compressors, pumps, turbines, gearboxes, refrigeration equipment and waste water treatment plants.
