EnPro’s Macadam Sets Retirement Date

EnPro Industries’ CEO and President Stephen E. Macadam has announced he will retire on July 29.

Marvin A. Riley, the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, will succeed Macadam, who will serve as vice chairman of the board of directors to aid with EnPro’s new leadership transition. At the end of February 2020, Macadam will resign from the board.

Riley, 44, has been EnPro’s executive vice president and COO since July 2017. Previously, he served as president of Fairbanks Morse from May 2012 to May 2018; as vice president of manufacturing for EnPro (December 2011 to May 2012); as vice president of global operations for EnPro’s GGB division (November 2009 to November 2011); and as vice president, operations Americas, GGB division (July 2007 to November 2011). Before EnPro, Riley held several positions with General Motors.
