Compressor Controls Corp. (CCC) has opened a new sales and service facility in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Additionally, CCC is also offering front end engineering design (FEED) services for upstream, midstream and downstream customers, including those In the Saudi Arabian region.

These moves are part of the company’s plans to expand its service offerings across the globe. CCC’s turbo train optimization services assist oil and gas and petrochemical operators by improving operational efficiencies, yields and safety regarding turbomachinery. The company’s local consultants collaborate with plant operators and engineers to optimize the design and tuning of turbomachinery control systems.

With a Middle Eastern presence, CCC can use its expertise to service plants. Though some operate on a continuous basis, CCC has control systems with advanced algorithms that improve compressor and turbine operational effectiveness.

“Upstream, midstream and downstream markets around the globe are currently green-lighting dozens of massive projects – many of which were planned before and during the downturn but are now funded and about to enter their planning stages,” said Rich Hall, CCC’s vice president of product management and marketing.  “Over the last 45 years, CCC’s experts have garnered more than 2 billion hours of consulting experience with turbomachinery control systems.”

Product Manager Stefano Belloni further expressed the capabilities of CCC’s FEED services. “Our expertise is most valuable to customers at the outset of projects, where we can assure proper design, identify clear requirements for EPCs, and define effective specifications for the hardware and software that will optimize performance over the life of the plant.”
