Company veteran succeeds Andreas Brautsch

Meier has spent 19 years with Burckhardt Compression, holding several management positions across the company. He currently serves as vice president of the Systems Division for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

His previous responsibilities included leading Compressor Engineering & Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain within the Systems Division.

Meier holds a master’s degree in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH Zurich.

Burckhardt Compression said the internal appointment reflects its succession planning process and is intended to provide continuity in the execution of the Systems Division’s strategy.

“We thank Andreas for his commitment and valuable contribution to Burckhardt Compression and wish him all the best for the future,” said Fabrice Billard, CEO of Burckhardt Compression. “We are pleased to appoint Daniel Meier as his successor. Thanks to his broad operational and leadership experience, and deep knowledge of our business, he is ideally positioned to lead the Systems Division into its next phase of development.”

The company’s Board of Directors and Executive Management thanked Brautsch for his contributions and expressed regret over his departure.
