Sundyne Makes Personnel Moves

20 October 2020

Sundyne, a global compressor and pump manufacturer, has made several personnel moves. The company appointed Andrew Matsuyama as its chief financial officer, promoted Neil Langdown to the new role of commercial excellence leaders, and promoted Colin Guppy to chief commercial officer.

Matsuyama

Matsuyama has nearly 15 years of CFO experience, having served in role with Norican Group and Wheelabrator Group, a private equity owned engineering equipment manufacturing. In those roles, Matsuyama handled finance and strategic initiatives across mergers and acquisitions; capital structure optimization; and business process improvement.

Langdown

Langdown, a Sundyne associate since 2018, will develop new business models and service offerings, as well as improve efficiency by digitalizing business processes and platform integration. He will retain his other job title – vice president, Asia.

Guppy

Guppy will lead the original equipment and aftermarket strategies for Sundyne’s vertical markets in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. He will also work with the company’s partners and customers to develop products and aftermarket services for the oil and gas, chemical and industrial markets. Guppy’s tenure at Sundyne dates back to 2000.

Matsuyama is based at Sundyne’s Arvada, Colorado headquarters, while Langdown and Guppy will remain based in the United Kingdom.
