TurboTides’ newest release integrates aritificial intelligence and machine learning

The newest release from TurboTides has been infused with artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) optimization, which the company said will allow its customers and their product development teams to increase efficiency of turbomachinery designs.

This 2022-23 TurboTides Turbomachinery Integrated Design System allows users to import or create 1D and 3D designs and run 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA), among other capabilities.

“Our AI optimization is a game changer in turbomachinery engineering and design,” said Dr. Xuwen Qiu, Ph.D., TurboTides president and founder. “TurboTides is proud to provide the ability to seamlessly integrated workflow that combines AI optimization, automatic meshing, CFD and FEA in a single program.”

According to the New Hampshire-based company, the new release improves upon TurboTides’ previous products by reducing design costs and cycle times.

Along with the addition of AI/ML, the new system features tandem blades, enhancements to the radial and double-suction pumps, an updated pipe diffuser, changes to multi-stage machine design and more.

The 2022-23 release is now available.
