Cook Compression Signs Multi-Year Service Contract

Cook Compression has signed a multi-year contract with ISAB S.r.l, part of Lukoil Oil Co., to provide technical support, reconditioning and upgrades for its reciprocating compressor valves.

The contract comes at an opportune time for Cook Compression, who recently opened a satellite service facility in Sicily, Italy. The service facility, which officially opened on May 29, reconditions compressor valves for ISAB and other refineries in the region.

“We are proud to provide our valve expertise and local support to the ISAB refinery,” said Dean Lewis, Cook Compression’s vice president, Aftermarket, Europe & Russia. “This service facility represents our commitment to building lasting partnerships that help our customers improve compressor performance and minimize equipment downtime.”

The Sicily service facility, located at Zona Conia, Contrada San Cusumano, Siracusa, has room to expand its capabilities in support of the region’s compressor service, repair and upgrade needs, the company said.

The Cook Compression global service portfolio includes reconditioning, replacements and upgrades for compressor sealing components, valves, packing cases, pistons, rods and cylinders.
