31 March 2021

The GPA Midstream Association has announced the agenda for its Technical Conference, a virtual event scheduled for April 26 – May 7. The event will give attendees multiple opportunities to view each presentation and receive a certificate of attendance.

The agenda includes a one-hour engineering ethics class presented by Freese and Nichols which will help engineers fulfill their annual ethics course requirement.

During the conference’s Live Week, which is scheduled for April 26 – April 30, each presentation will be limited to 30 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes for questions with the speakers. If a conference participant cannot attend a given session during Live Week, they will have two additional opportunities to view educational sessions during Encore Week, which is scheduled for May 3 – May 7. The virtual platform will log attendance and will issue CPE credit or professional development credits for those who join each session.

Each session will be available for viewing on demand after it has concluded. Participants who have registered will have access to all sessions and to some networking events from April 26 to May 7.

The registration fee for GPA Midstream, GPSA and GPA Midstream chapter members if $100 per person, a fee which grants access to all education and networking sessions from April 26 – May 7. Chapter members should contact their respective chapters for the code to receive the discounted fee. Registration for non-members if $200 per person.

Subsequent to the virtual event, the organization will celebration its 100th anniversary at the 2021 GPA Midstream Convention, which will be held in person Sept. 26 – Sept. 29 at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio.

The second event will be held in person, but the GPA Midstream Association will also provide an option for virtual participation from Oct. 18-29. The online event will feature many of the same speakers, and some additional speakers who cannot present in person. In addition, it will provide unique networking events. The GPA Midstream Convention website has more information about the 2021 format and registration fees.
