EGCR moves to mid-September

27 January 2021

The coronavirus pandemic continues to disrupt industry events in the gas compression industry. The Eastern Gas Compression Roundtable’s (EGCR’s) executive committee moved its annual event from May to September. The EGCR will occur from Sept. 14-16 at the David Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

“We realize that some of you have already begun planning for the May event and wanted to be sure to give you ample time to adjust your planning to join us in September,” said Joyce Perhac, EGCR executive director, in an email statement. “Our previous policy of registration fee rollover remains in effect.”

The 2021 EGCR was originally slated to take place from May 4-6. The pandemic forced the executive committee to cancel its trademark event for the first time in 47 years.

With the unprecedented impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the industry, COMPRESSORTECH2 will provide updated coverage across its website. If you have news to share, please contact editor DJ Slater at [email protected].
