1 – Howden buys Spencer Turbine, CPI

Howden went on a shopping spree, recently making its fifth and sixth acquisition of 2021. Its latest acquisition, Compressor Products International, was from EnPro Industries (NYSE: NPO) and strengthens its foothold in the aftermarket components and services sector to the reciprocating compressor market, the company said.

Atlas Copco has acquired CPC Pumps International Inc., a company that specializes in the design, manufacturing and servicing of custom-engineered, mission-critical centrifugal pumps.

Burckhardt Compression will deliver three Process Gas Compressor API618 systems to compress hydrogen at a liquefaction plant in South Korea. The new installation in South Korea is the largest hydrogen liquefication plant worldwide and is part of the country’s strategy to develop hydrogen as a clean energy.
