CPI, Windrock Form Partnership For Improving Recip Compressor Operations

17 September 2019

Compressor Products International (CPI), part of EnPro Industries, and Windrock have started a new commercial partnership aimed at increasing the safety, operating efficiency and effectiveness of reciprocating compressors.

The partnership will use analytical technology, which offers predictive and early detection capabilities, to provide reciprocating compressor owners with lower operating costs, reduced unplanned downtime, improved environmental impact and better reliability and efficiency.

“This joint offering delivers the entire solution package from analytics to repairs, completing the full value circle under a single umbrella,” said Bill Favenesi, CPI’s president.

Ali Raza, president and general manager of Windrock, said, “Our analytics and insights drive operational improvements in reciprocating equipment for our customers. By combining our efforts with CPI, we enhance the benefits Windrock products and services deliver.”

Windrock is known for its reciprocating machinery analytics systems, such as Spotlight, which integrates artificial intelligence and subject matter expertise to predict and prevent catastrophic failures, as well as decrease machine inefficiency.

CPI provides products and expertise in problem solving and customized solutions, such as the Proflo EOS, which monitors and adjusts lubrication levels on reciprocating compressor to prevent over- and under-lubrication.
