Cook Compression to open Corpus Christi service center in July
June 24, 2025
Facility will support compressor maintenance needs in Eagle Ford region

Cook Compression plans to open a new service center in Corpus Christi, Texas, on July 7, 2025, expanding its U.S. footprint and offering cylinder-end repair and support services to customers in the Eagle Ford Shale and surrounding areas.
The facility is equipped to provide repair, reconditioning, replacement, and upgrade services for reciprocating compressor components, including packing cases, valves, pistons, piston rods, ring and rider bands, and cylinders. It will serve operators across a range of gas compression applications.
Jerry Shotts, general manager of U.S. service operations at Cook Compression, said the new location is part of the company’s effort to offer more accessible support to its customer base. “The Corpus Christi center reinforces our mission to provide localized, expert support that helps our customers maintain peak compressor performance and reliability,” Shotts said.
The Corpus Christi site adds to Cook Compression’s network of service centers across the U.S., which are supported by the company’s international engineering and technical teams. When needed, the new facility will collaborate with Cook’s global operations to assist with complex repairs or performance-related challenges.
The center’s location is intended to position Cook Compression closer to its midstream and upstream customer base operating in South Texas, a region with ongoing demand for gas compression equipment maintenance and refurbishment.
Cook Compression is part of the Dover Precision Components group and supplies components and aftermarket services for reciprocating compressors. The company supports both OEMs and operators with parts, field services, and project management for compressor systems.
