AXH air-coolers expanding Oklahoma manufacturing operations

Projects in Sapulpa and Claremore will add a combined 336,500 square feet of manufacturing space

AXH has officially broken ground on Phase II of its Sapulpa Campus: a new 161,500-square-foot manufacturing facility.

AXH air-coolers is expanding its manufacturing operations in Oklahoma with two construction projects that will add a combined 336,500 sq.ft. of production space at its facilities in Sapulpa and Claremore.

The expansions are intended to increase manufacturing capacity and strengthen the company’s ability to meet growing demand across its established and emerging markets.

AXH manufactures air-cooled heat exchangers used in natural gas compression, gas processing, power generation and other industrial applications. Its equipment supports heat management in compression systems, including gas cooling and engine cooling applications.

Sapulpa expansion scheduled for March 2027

At its Sapulpa campus, AXH has broken ground on a 161,500 sq.ft. manufacturing facility as part of the site’s second phase of development.

The company said the project will expand production capacity and improve its ability to address evolving thermal management requirements.

AXH marked the groundbreaking with representatives from the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce, the City of Sapulpa, local community leaders and project partners.

Construction is underway, with completion expected in March 2027.

Claremore project adds 175,000 sq. ft.

At its Claremore campus, AXH is expanding the existing North Lowry Building with an additional 175,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

The company said the project is intended to address continued demand across its core and emerging markets while increasing production capacity and strengthening its ability to deliver air-cooled heat exchangers on schedule.

Construction is underway, although AXH has not disclosed a completion date.

The project, together with the Sapulpa expansion, reflects the company’s continued investment in its Oklahoma manufacturing operations.

Air-cooled heat exchangers are widely used in natural gas compression facilities to manage gas temperatures and remove heat generated during compression. They also support cooling requirements in gas processing and other energy infrastructure applications.

AXH did not disclose the capital investment associated with the projects, the anticipated percentage increase in manufacturing capacity or the number of jobs expected to be created. The company also did not provide a completion date for the Claremore expansion.
