Archrock expands South Texas operations with new Kenedy facility

New 16,100-square-foot facility will serve as a regional parts hub, expanding natural gas compression service and support capabilities across the Eagle Ford

Archrock has opened a new 16,100-square-foot facility in Kenedy, Texas, expanding its natural gas compression service and parts distribution capabilities in the Eagle Ford and surrounding South Texas markets.

The facility will serve as the company’s South Texas parts hub, providing expanded inventory and improved access to replacement components for natural gas compressors and related equipment.

Archrock said the investment is intended to strengthen its regional service capabilities and improve response times for its growing customer base.

Located at 393 Boardwalk in Kenedy, the newly constructed facility occupies approximately 8 acres and includes about 9,800 square feet of warehouse space, 4,200 square feet of offices and a 2,100-square-foot covered canopy, according to commercial real estate information.

The property also provides substantial outdoor storage capacity for equipment and materials, along with warehouse loading facilities.

The expansion strengthens Archrock’s service infrastructure in the Eagle Ford, where natural gas compression is essential for gathering, production and transportation operations.

Archrock maintains an established service network across South Texas, with its regional headquarters in Victoria.

According to the company, its South Texas operations employ more than 125 field service technicians supporting natural gas compression customers throughout the Eagle Ford.

The new Kenedy location is intended to improve parts availability and help technicians respond more quickly to equipment maintenance and repair requirements.

For natural gas compression operators, regional access to replacement parts and service personnel is an important factor in minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining compressor availability.

Archrock provides contract compression and aftermarket services, including equipment installation, operation, maintenance and repair, to oil and natural gas producers and midstream operators across the United States.

The Kenedy investment adds to the company’s network of regional service facilities, shops and warehouses supporting its compression fleet and customers’ equipment.

The company did not disclose the cost of the facility or provide details about additional employment associated with the expansion.
