Enerflex appoints Martinez as CETO

20 January 2021

Enerflex appointed Patricia Martinez as its chief energy transition officer, responsible for guiding the company’s global strategy for its transition to low-carbon fuels.

Martinez remains Enerflex’s president, Latin America, a role responsible for the company’s redesigned Latin American management team.

Martinez joined Enerflex in 2014 following its acquisition of Axip Energy Services’ assets. Before that, she worked in roles of increasing responsibility and scope at Shell U.S. and Conoco Argentina.

Enerflex has already begun working with its core oil and gas client partners to lower its greenhouse gas emissions, enabling projects related to carbon capture, flare gas to power and electrification of compression and gas processing solutions. One example is the company’s supply of an all-electric, modularized 300 MMcfd (8.5 X 106 m3/d) gas plant last year that processes rich gas for local and national power generation.
