Siemens To Unveil New Compressor Package At GMRC

Siemens said it will introduce a new SGT-400 pipeline compressor package at the upcoming GMRC trade fair and conference in Kansas City, Mo. Siemens said the new compressor package is highly integrated, turnkey gas turbine and centrifugal compressor solution.

Incorporating a what Siemens called field-proven, efficient and reliable components, this new package offers a single-lift, one baseplate configuration for fast deployment, DLE combustion technology for emissions compliance even at low loads, and 24/7 support for responsive service. The system is targeted toward both greenfield deployment as well as expansion of existing capacity, Siemens said.

More details will be available at the Siemens booth at GMRC (#520), where the company will also be displaying its midstream oil and gas solutions and services, such as the legacy RFBB and RFA compressors, an electric motor-driven compressor package that is pre-engineered for efficient installation and startup. Options extend to an electrification package that includes compressors, drives, motors, skids, automation, e-shelters, sub-stations and transformers, Siemens said.
