Global Compression Services names Michael Dallas as CFO

Industry veteran brings three decades of finance, M&A and operations expertise to Midland-based company

Global Compression Services (GCS) has appointed Michael Dallas as chief financial officer, expanding its leadership team as it pursues growth in the natural gas compression market.

Based in Midland, Texas, Dallas will lead the company’s finance, business analysis and strategic planning functions, while also guiding acquisition integration as GCS expands. He has more than 30 years of experience across industrial distribution, mergers and acquisitions, oil and gas, and banking.

Dallas spent 10 years as CFO in the industrial distribution sector and 14 years overseeing M&A integration for a national food distribution company. He holds an MBA, a finance degree and a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor designation from the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
