Mitsubishi H-100 Turbine Completes Low NOx Testing

Mitsubishi companies Heavy Industries, Ltd., Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. and Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MHI, MHPS and MCO, respectively) have successfully completed low NOx testing of the MHPS H-100 gas turbine.

According to Mitsubishi, the 2-shaft, 120MW turbine achieves single-digit ppm NOx for full-load operations. The H-100 is intended for use in thermal power plants as well as mechanical drive LNG applications.
