Worley VP to present at CT2 LNG webinar

Joins head of LNG for Siemens Energy as presenter

COMPRESSORtech2 is proud to announce that Vasant Saith, vice president, LNG – Worley Consulting, Americas will be presenting during our free webinar on liquefied natural gas (LNG) at 9 a.m. CST April 30.

Saith has 21 years of experience in Engineering and Construction with 19 years in senior technical and leadership roles in LNG and CCUS. He currently leads the Worley Consulting group in delivering concept development, technology and economic evaluations and asset advisory services for LNG Customers across the Americas.

He previously led the profit and loss for the LNG and CCUS businesses for the US Gulf Coast. The scope of services included greenfield and brownfield EPC projects, technology and economic evaluations, debottlenecking and production optimization scopes, turnaround and maintenance management, provision of owner’s engineering, operations readiness and decarbonization projects. In this role, he functioned as the designated project executive and sponsor on LNG and CCUS contracts providing execution oversight to project directors and managers.

He is regarded as an LNG subject matter expert in the Worley global organization. He provides technical and commercial guidance to both greenfield and brownfield projects across the globe. His involvement in LNG projects spans the full project lifecycle from early conceptual designs through to startup and operation. He has worked on over 50 LNG projects supporting owners and investors on projects that employ various liquefaction technologies, both onshore and offshore and across the full range of production capacities.

He regularly presents at international conferences to promote decarbonization and other innovative solutions in the LNG industry. Vasant is an IChemE Fellow and a chartered engineer with the UK Engineering Council.

He joins Sanjeev Daruka, Head of Global LNG, Siemens Energy, who will highlight the tremendous opportunities to improve LNG process design and gas turbine-driven refrigeration compression trains that can support today’s dynamic energy transition with an equal emphasis on profitability and local job creation.

Daruka has more than 30 years of experience associated with rotating equipment for the oil and gas and power generation industries. His expertise includes sales strategy development, contract negotiations and complex problem solving and he is well-versed with the technical aspects of gas turbines and centrifugal compressors.
