Weir Signs Service Contract In Iraq

Weir Oil & Gas Dubai signed a multi-year, multimillion-dollar contract in Iraq with an international gas company. The contract allows the gas company to use Weir Oil & Gas’ fabrication, workshop-machining services and field services to support its Iraq operation, especially with respect to brownfield modifications and rotating equipment maintenance.

Per the contract, Weir Oil & Gas will also be able to expand its portfolio in the oil field operated by the gas company.

In the Eastern Hemisphere region, Weir Oil & Gas provides a range of products, as well as customized wellhead solutions designed to meet unique specifications. The company provides in-country service and support through Centers of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence, which allow it to manufacture and distribute wellhead equipment quicker due to its proximity to customers in the region.
