Waite New Ideal Sales VP

Ideal Electric Co., formerly known as Hyundai Ideal Electric Co., the Ohio-based independent manufacturer of high-power, specialty electric machinery and power systems, has appointed Stephen Waite as its vice president of Sales. Waite will be responsible for managing and directing all domestic and international sales and sales support teams, including new and replacement machine sales and Genuine Ideal Parts and Service.

Waite brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in large electric motors and generators having held the position of director and general manager of Marelli Motori Americas. Before Marelli, Waite was the national sales manager of the Energy Division, including Electric Machinery Co., was southeastern regional account Manager for ABB’s large machine business, and was outside sales representative for TECO-Westinghouse Motor Co.
