October 13, 2020

Siemens Energy has decided to locate its corporate headquarters in Berlin, Germany. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the State of Berlin to officially peg the capital city as its future headquarters.

On Sept. 24, Siemens Energy revealed that it would base its corporate headquarters in Berlin, yet the exact location within the Berlin area remains under consideration. Siemens Energy and state officials are looking at the feasibility of Huttenstrasse in Berlin-Moabit.

The state plans to support Siemens Energy and its new headquarters by improving accessibility to the site via an extension of the tram line M10 in Berlin’s public transport system. Early next year, Siemens Energy CEO Christian Bruch and Chief Financial Officer Maria Ferraro will move into their new offices.
