SGA Goes Digital With Two Conferences

03 June 2020

The Southern Gas Association (SGA) is going virtual with two of its conferences due to the complications brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

Natural Gas Connect – originally planned for July 13-15 in St. Louis, Missouri – and the Spring Gas Conference and Expo – a traditional spring event – will occur later this summer in a digital format.

Natural Gas Connect, known virtually as Natural Gas Connect Academy, will take place online from Monday through Thursday every week from July 13 to Aug. 6. The new format will feature training and other peer-to-peer learning opportunities stretched across several weeks. Participants can access shorter (60-to-90-minute) training sessions live or on-demand over the four-week span.

The virtual Spring Gas Conference & Expo will run from Mondays to Thursdays from Aug. 17 to Sept. 18 and offer the same type of features as the Natural Gas Connect Academy. Attendees who signed up for the in-person event ahead of time will be automatically enrolled in the virtual event and have access to Natural Gas Connect Academy. No further registration for Spring Gas will be accepted.

A virtual exhibit hall demonstration, designed to showcase products and technology in a digital space, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (CST) on Monday, June 15. For more information, visit the Southern Gas Association’s website.
