Rego Named President Of Compressor Technique For Atlas Copco

Effective August 1, Vagner Rego will be president of the Compressor Technique business area and member of Group Management at Atlas Copco. Rego is currently the president of Compressor Technique’s service division.

Rego has been with Atlas Copco since 1996 and began as a trainee engineer in a service shop in São Paulo State, Brazil. He was appointed Business Line Manager for Compressor Technique Service in Brazil in 2006 and became VP Marketing and Sales for the Compressor Technique Service division in Belgium. The Compressor Technique business area he will lead has approximately 16,000 employees.

Rego succeeds Nico Delvaux, who is leaving Atlas Copco.
