New GM For Steel Nation Engineering

Steel Nation, the Washington, Pa.-headquartered specialist in metal buildings, engineering and turnkey building services for oil & gas and other industries, announced that Steven J. Bauer, PE, SE, joined the company as general manager of Steel Nation Engineering, Inc. He assumed his new role as of April 1.

Bauer is an experienced engineering leader with a multi-faceted background in structural engineering, team leadership and specialty product development for the construction industry. He has worked in engineering and product development for more than two decades and most recently was focused on bringing value-added engineering solutions to large chemical and combined-cycle power plants in the Pittsburgh region.

Steve will make an excellent addition to Steel Nation’s leadership team,” said Steel Nation President Mark Caskey. “With his background and expertise in the engineering field, he’s well-suited to help guide the next phase of our corporate development.”
