company’s target is to help customers with the decarbonization of their energy or industrial systems, and on decentralized applications

Neuman & Esser (NEA), a leading manufacturer of piston and diaphragm compressors, has expanded its energy solutions business unit into the hydrogen value chain.

With the establishment of NEA Green, the company said it now has a clear focus on products and services for the hydrogen and green gases markets. The company said the move will allow it to combine its know-how from compressor technology with extended products such as electrolyzers and services for planning, project planning and marketing of hydrogen and green gases. This expansion further demonstrates how NEA supports the current transformation of the fossil fuel-based oil & gas sector to a sustainable hydrogen economy with green hydrogen, the company said.

“In order to drive the decarbonization of the various sectors, we have expanded our product portfolio to include key components in the value chain,” said Stefanie Peters, managing partner of the NEA Group and member of the National Hydrogen Council of the German Federal Government. “The economy needs a technically optimized solution from the generation of climate-neutral hydrogen to transport, storage and application, which we offer with our Energy Solutions.”

NEA initiated the expansion of the new energy solutions business unit with strategic investments and acquisitions in the field of alternative energy sources. New experts joined the NEA family for mobility with fuel cell drives (AEDS – AE Driven Solutions GmbH), for biogas and biomethane (Arcanum Energy Systems GmbH & Co. KG) for electrolysis systems (Hytron Energy & Gas) and for climate-neutral fuels (Infinium). The newly founded company NEA GREEN GmbH & Co. KG bundles the core know-how of the group of companies around green gases from the first concept and advice including feasibility studies through project development to the implementation of H2 systems and their sales support.
