Motortech Appoints New Managing Director

Motortech has selected Markus Kruse as its new managing director, a move that follows the retirement of Florian Virchow. Virchow, the company’s founder, officially retired on Dec. 31, 2018. She served as one of the company’s managing directors.

Kruse, along with Robert Virchow, are responsible for the commercial and operational duties of Motortech, as well as ensuring future growth. Mona Virchow will remain responsible for personnel management and administrative tasks.

Kruse brings several years of experience in technical markets and commercial leadership into his new role. As a trained technical economist, Kruse worked as a managing director and division manager of sales for Wolf Power Systems GmbH in Germany. He also worked for 2G, Adunos, and LichtBlick, which are companies that serve the energy and cogeneration systems industry.
