Haskel names new global general manager

Wald will oversee operations for Haskel as well as sister brands BuTech and Hartell

Haskel, a global leader in high-pressure fluid and gas handling systems, has appointed Alain Wald as its new global General Manager. Wald will oversee operations for Haskel as well as sister brands BuTech and Hartell under the Specialty division of Ingersoll Rand.

In his new role, Wald is tasked with setting strategic direction and delivering financial performance across the three brands, with an emphasis on innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth in international markets.

Wald previously served as General Manager and European Operations Director for the company from 2002 to 2004. He returns with two decades of senior leadership experience across the industrial technology sector, including roles at Patriot International, Kelvion, and Hydratight.

Haskel and BuTech are recognized for their capabilities in high-pressure liquid and gas compression technologies, with products rated up to 10,000 bar. The companies’ offerings include gas boosters, pumps, valves, fittings, and tubing. Hartell rounds out the portfolio with a broad line of HVAC and refrigeration pumps for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
