Hanwha unifies power businesses under new global brand
April 01, 2026
Integration of Hanwha Power Systems and PSM targets growth in gas turbine services, data centers and low-carbon power
Hanwha Impact subsidiaries Hanwha Power Systems and Power Systems Mfg., LLC (PSM) will integrate under a new unified brand, Hanwha Power, as the group expands its presence in global energy markets.
The combined entity aims to position itself as a full-service energy infrastructure provider, offering equipment, auxiliary systems and lifecycle services for gas turbine power plants. The integration is designed to move the businesses beyond standalone equipment offerings toward more comprehensive, solution-based capabilities.
Hanwha Power said the rebranding reflects rising demand for reliable power generation driven by electrification and the rapid growth of data centers. The company plans to leverage its gas turbine and fuel systems expertise to support high-efficiency power generation while addressing evolving customer needs across the value chain.
The new organization will also focus on low-carbon power solutions, including hydrogen- and ammonia-fueled systems, as well as retrofit technologies aimed at reducing emissions from existing gas turbine fleets. The company said it intends to build on its combustor technology to support decarbonization efforts and integration with renewable energy sources.
Hanwha Power will operate across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, integrating engineering, technology development, sales and service functions to improve responsiveness and operational efficiency.
Rafi Balta, CEO of Hanwha Power, said the unified platform will strengthen the company’s role across the power sector value chain while enhancing service quality and plant performance for customers.
