Encore Oilfield Services promotes Kelsey Wylie to president

Longtime employee who began as mechanic will oversee day-to-day operations as company expands service offerings across key U.S. oil and gas regions
Encore Oilfield Services LLC has promoted Kelsey Wylie to president, elevating a longtime employee who began his career with the company as a mechanic nearly two decades ago.
Granbury, Texas-based Encore said Wylie will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations while CEO John R. Simonetti focuses on long-term strategic initiatives.
“Kelsey is proof that hard work and commitment lead to incredible opportunities,” Simonetti said in announcing the promotion. “I couldn’t be more excited about our future with him at the helm.”
Wylie most recently served as vice president of operations. In that role, the company said he played a key part in expanding Encore’s service offerings, developing new product lines and helping build the organization’s technical workforce.
Founded in 2008, Encore Oilfield Services provides equipment and field services to the oil and natural gas industry. The company initially focused on supporting operators in the Barnett Shale with compressor overhauls, aftermarket field services and trucking.
Since then, Encore has expanded both geographically and operationally. The company now serves customers across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana and provides a range of services including compressor packaging, machine work, fabrication, OEM and aftermarket parts sales, midstream services and catalyst services.
Encore’s technicians specialize in servicing and rebuilding compressor engines from manufacturers including Caterpillar, Waukesha, Cummins, Arrow and White Superior. The company works on equipment ranging from about 35 horsepower to 6,000 horsepower used at wellheads, pipelines and gas gathering facilities.
Simonetti said Wylie’s promotion reflects the company’s emphasis on developing talent internally while continuing to grow its capabilities in compression and related oilfield services.
“Kelsey started with us as a mechanic, and his journey reflects exactly what Encore stands for — dedication, leadership and growth from within,” Simonetti said.
