Elliott Group Appoints VP Of EIC Cryo

13 October 2017

Elliott Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ebara Corp., has integrated Ebara International Corp.’s Cyrodynamic’s Division’s (EIC Cryo) operations based in Sparks, Nevada, with its operations in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. EIC Cryo will operate as one of the four business units within Elliott Group.

EIC Cryo custom-engineers and manufactures pumps and expanders for LNG industries. Elliott supplies refrigeration compressors for baseload LNG plants as well as rotating equipment for refining and petrochemical applications. Ebara said that the integration will provide a simplified customer experience because of the shared technologies and synergies in the LNG markets. EIC Cryo will continue to operate under that name.

Shugo Hosoda

As part of this integration, John Rann has been appointed as vice president of EIC Cryo. Rann has been with Elliott since 1973, when he joined the UK engineering apprenticeship program. He has worked in each of Elliott’s business units. Most recently, he was vice president of Engineered Products.

Shugo Hosoda will succeed Rann as vice president of Engineered Products. Hosada has nearly 25 years of product engineering and executive experience within Ebara.
