EFRC Seeking Board Nominations

February 07, 2020

The European Forum for Reciprocating Compressors (EFRC) is looking to fill two positions on its board of directors at its next general assembly.

The three-year term of the current board ends by April 2020. Thus, the General Assembly has to elect the new board. The 12th EFRC Conference will be held Sept. 9-10 in Warsaw, Poland.

After serving the EFRC as founding and board member for nine years, Dr. René Peters has decided to invite other EFRC members to take over the position of EFRC chairman. EFRC is also seeking a successor to Treasurer Matthias Tanner, who has served for seven years as treasurer.

All EFRC member companies can nominate candidates. The board meets two to four times a year. EFRC is seeking people who are well known in the industry and who are ready to meet and arrange meetings in Europe.

Anyone interested should contact a current board member. Applications, which should include a short CV, are open until March 10 and can be sent to EFRC Office Manager Maja Schütz at [email protected].
