EFRC opens registration for training workshop

Registration for a training workshop organized by the European Forum for Reciprocating Compressors is now open. The training will be held by TNO on Sept. 20-21 in Delft, The Netherlands.

One session is entitled‚ “Basic design and operation of reciprocating compressors” and will be taught by a panel of experts. Jeroen van Koperen of Shell will give a session on typical application for reciprocating compressors. Rene Anke of NEAC will discuss the design and construction of compressors. Other general topics will cover thermodynamics, wearing parts, auxiliary systems, operations and maintenance.

Other sessions will address specific challenges in hydrogen compression. Those sessions will include speakers on the future oulook for the industry, compressor selection and sizing, special equipment, fatigue strength, embrittlement, pulsation and vibration control.
