Cooper Adds Mathews As VP Of Engineering

Cooper Machinery Services has hired Hans Mathews as its vice president of engineering. Mathews has 29 years of compression industry experience, which includes 20 years with Hoerbiger and nine years with Tenneco.

Mathews, who last served as Hoerbiger’s senior vice president of sales and engineering, is an expert of applying modern technology to legacy engine applications.

“Hans is the kind of engine and industry pro that will truly be an asset to our Cooper customers,” said John Sargent, Cooper CEO. “He’s a guru when it comes to engine reliability, fuel efficiency and combustion stability.”
