City, University of London to hold conference

The 13th International Conference on Compressors and their Systems will be held from Sept. 11 – 13, 2023 at City, University of London.

The conference is designed to give participants a forum to discuss developments in air, gas and refrigeration compressors, vacuum pumps, expanders and related systems and components. The program will contain a keynote address, high quality research and technical papers, podium presentations and industry sessions.

The theme for the conference will be “Compressors and Expanders in Future Energy Systems.” Papers are invited on a wide range of topics that include compressors, expanders, pumps and their systems.

Other topics include safety and environment, energy efficiency, carbon footprint, heating and cooling demand integration, sustainable power and heat, maintenance and reliability.

The conference is designed to benefit manufacturers and designers of compressors, expanders, their systems and controls, suppliers, end users, researchers, academics and educational institutions. The deadline for an abstract submission is Nov. 27, 2022. By Feb. 19, 2023, the selected authors should submit draft paper of up to 4000 words. By May 14, 2023, the final paper must be submitted.

Since 2023, City, University of London has organized short courses on positive displacement machines. These typically contain a strong input from the compressor industry software providers and academia.
