One of SCB’s products is LogiDrain 100, an automatic condensate drainage system designed for compressors, aftercoolers, dryers and filters.

Atlas Copco has acquired SCB S.r.l., an Italian manufacturer that develops, produces and distributes electronic condensate drains for the industrial market.

SCB S.r.l. is located in Villar San Costanzo, near Cuneo in Piedmont. The company is privately held and has 16 employees. In 2021 the company reported EUR 5mn in revenue.

The company manufactures condensate drains for the industrial market, such as energy saving electronal drains, mechanical drains, timer drains and level-controlled drains. The products serve the compressed air and vacuum market by removing water from the air stream.

“SCB is a well-established company with many years of experience and a high level of expertise in condensate management,” said Vagner Rego, business area president compressor technique. “We have a long history of working with SCB and see many possibilities for accelerated growth in this area going forward.”

The purchase price is not disclosed. SCB S.r.l. will become part of Walker Filtration which is part of the Medical Gas Solutions Division within the Compressor Technique business area.
