Company: U.S. oil & gas market ‘radically changing’

Argentina-based Galileo Technologies, a global compression manufacturer and service provider with more than 30 years of experience, has launched Galileo Compression USA, which will be led by Ronald J. Foster.

Galileo Technologies of Argentina has announced the launch of a new division, Galileo Compression USA.

“The U.S. oil & gas compression market is radically changing as its participants are increasingly shifting to asset-light, high-technology solutions with an ESG focus,” said Osvaldo del Campo, CEO of Galileo Technologies, which is headquartered in Buenos Aires.

Foster will oversee the company’s compression sales and fleet operations in North America. He has more than 40 years of energy services experience with companies such as Halliburton and Dresser Industries. He also has about two decades of senior management and executive experience in the oil and gas compression industry. Most recently, he was senior vice president and chief marketing officer at CSI Compressco G.P.

Prior to the acquisition of Compressor Systems Inc., Foster served as president and board director for Compressco Partners LP.

“I am very excited to join Galileo Technologies to build our value-added, world-class compression solutions business” Foster said. “I believe we have a great business model and a highly talented executive team to capitalize on the growing demand for clean and environmentally friendly natural gas and associated liquids.”

The U.S. division is well-positioned to provide a suite of compression solutions utilizing the highest quality standards and the latest in compression technology, Foster said. The company’s U.S.-based manufacturing and assembly facilities are strategically located in the prolific producing regions of the Northeast and Permian Basin “to provide fast and reliable delivery and service for our customers,” he said.
