U.S.-based TurboTides, Inc., a provider of state-of-the-art turbomachinery design technology, has signed a reseller agreement with Aberdeen, Scotland-based Cygnas Solutions, Ltd., an engineering solution provider, that will enable it to expand its UK footprint and market position throughout Europe.

This strategic partnership took effect June 7 and will serve compressor, pump and other turbomachinery design engineers with advanced technological options.

TurboTides’ turbomachinery design and analysis software provides engineers with key capabilities, including stage and components-level data reduction, volute modeling, multi-segment CAD import, secondary flow path modeling and flank milling features behind an advanced graphical user interface (GUI). TurboTides’ software is a comprehensive integrated system designed for the optimization of centrifugal, mixed-flow and axial compressors, turbines, pumps and fans.

“Cygnas Solutions built their business on reputation and results, and we are excited to be able to partner with them. Their extensive experience in the engineering market makes them a great partner that will have a significant impact on our ability to grow and expand throughout the European engineering community,” said Scott Hanratty, vice president of global sales at TurboTides.

“In a period of dynamic change for the turbomachinery design industry, we’re looking forward to helping Cygnas Solutions grow their business further by providing them with the ability to augment their engineering technology offerings (including Hexagon/MSC) and actively pursue clients in the specialized field of turbomachinery.”
