Sundyne names Rodney Vinegar chief human resources officer

Sundyne has named Rodney Vinegar its chief human resources officer & VP of environmental, health & safety, a position he will start Jan. 3.

In this role, Vinegar will enhance the professional development of Sundyne’s global workforce. The team he leads will guide the company’s growth by attracting additional talent. He will also focus on enhancing Sundyne’s Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Environmental Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) practices, to promote safety, sustainability and environmental responsibility at all of the company’s facilities around the globe.

Vinegar brings extensive human resources and leadership experience to Sundyne. He most recently worked at the Brace Industrial Group of Houston, where he developed and led the successful execution of a multi-year HR strategy.

During his 25-year professional career, he has been responsible for talent management, professional development, HR strategy, merger integration, workers’ compensation, safety processes & policies, labor relations, and HR operations with global companies including UBS Investment Bank, Colgate Palmolive, Sanofi, PepsiCo, and Ashland Chemical.

Vinegar is a native Kentuckian and the proud father of three. He’s a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and juris doctor at the University of Kentucky. Rodney will be based out of Arvada and he will report directly to Sundyne’s CEO, Mary Zappone.

Headquartered in Arvada, Colorado with operations and presence in Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia, Japan and China, Sundyne is a global manufacturer of centrifugal pumps and compressors for use in chemical, petrochemical, hydrocarbon, hydrogen, pharmaceutical, power generation and industrial applications.
