Finnish Company Turns To MAN For LNG Terminal

MAN Energy Solutions has received a contract to design and deliver an LNG regasification terminal for the Forchem company in Rauma, Finland. MAN Energy Solutions will deliver the terminal, which includes the offloading skid for LNG trailers, a vacuum-insulated tank and a vaporizer unit.

The terminal will be placed besides Forchem’s plant, allowing the company to receive deliveries of LNG and liquified bio gas (LBG) through tank-truck deliveries.

MAN Energy Solutions acquired fuel-gas specialist Cryo AB in 2015. Under the brand MAN Cryo, the company offers systems for the storage, distribution and handling of liquefied gases.
