Headquartered in the city of Monterrey in Nuevo León, PBMC is a specialist provider of pumping equipment. It serves industrial, mining and water treatments sector customers across the country and has been in operation for over 35 years.

The distribution deal will see PBMC offer Atlas Copco’s WEDA submersible pumps, which are designed for dewatering applications across multiple sectors.

Braulio Cantú, Commercial Director and Partner at Proveedora de Bombas, Motores y Compresores, said, “We are very excited about the alliance that we have established with Atlas Copco as commercial partners for the distribution of their products in Mexico.

“We do not doubt that it will be the beginning of an excellent synergy, not only because of their high-quality products and the support they offer worldwide but also because of their values and what they represent as a company and the great team of people behind them.”

Atlas Copco Power and Flow, the division responsible for the WEDA brand, will provide continuous training to PBMC’s workforce as part of the new partnership, which aims to increase the manufacturer’s presence in the Mexican market.

Bart Duijvelaar, Product Marketing Manager for submersible pumps at Atlas Copco Power and Flow, said, “We are proud to start this collaboration with Proveedora de Bombas, Motores y Compresores. Their local presence combined with their technical and commercial qualities for the selection, sales, and after-sales support will be an excellent benefit for all customers and users of our equipment.

“They have extensive experience in pumps, and with our solid support, we will provide the best service to customers in Mexico.”
