EN Engineering Buys QC Data

Utility services firm EN Engineering announced it has acquired QC Data, an intelligent infrastructure services firm headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado, USA.No financial details were provided.

Headquartered in Warrenville, Illinois, USA, EN Engineering provides comprehensive engineering, consulting and automation services to utilities, pipeline companies and industrial customers. The company operates in key energy and manufacturing regions across the United States.

“Weview the addition of QC Data as an ideal partnership as we continue to seekways to expand our utility and telecom services,” said EN Engineering Chief Executive Officer Steve Knowles. “In particular over the last 20-plus years, QC Data has become well known for their data-focused expertise related to asset and infrastructure management.”

Established in 1977, QC Data is a provider of engineering design and data services. The firm has more than 200 employees across the United States, with managers averaging 25 years of industry experience. The firm brings a comprehensive portfolio including work programs for leading energy, utility and engineering contracting organizations.

“QC Data adds new capabilities as well as several new customers and geographies that are highly complementary to EN’s Utility business unit,” said EN Engineering Chief Strategy Officer & Corporate Development Benjamin Newman. “In addition, we believe that QC Data’s strong history, company culture, and customer relationships will fit in well with EN’s existing operations.”
