KÖTTER Consulting Engineers KG (KCE) are an independent, non-affiliated engineering firm. Since 1978 the company has been engaged in the solution of complex problems covering the entire sprectrum of sound, vibration and fluid technology in eight fields of activity: Machine Dynamics, Pulsation Studies, Fluid Mechanics, Acoustical Engineering, Building Physics, Immission Protection, Wind Turbine Systems, Vibrations!  In addition to their activities in Germany KCE serve clients around the world.
The competent performance of measurement, calculations and evaluations is the basis for an effektive reduction of vibrations on rotating and oscillation machines. This not only reduces production downtimes and costly machine damage but increases occupational health and safety as well. Troubleshooting in case of imminent production losses or damage to plant and equipment requires rapid responses. Such incidents often occur in conjunctiion with new equipment start-ups, expansion of existing capacities or changes to production process flows. As part of their troubleshooting services KCE perform measurement at short notice and work out effective reduction measures. KCE have many experience in the field of vibrations on compressors, pumps, turbines as well as gas engines and electrical motors. In petroleum and natrual gas sectors the firm´s field of activity encompass such industries as chemical, general commercial vehicles, paper, packaging and food processing.
